The project Rethcaw is highly artistic but yet inspired by programming and technology. The development was the following: A video consists of various pixels, which vary in colour and contrast. This data can be interpreted independently from the content of the video.
Now the question arose, how an amount of information of this magnitude could be presented.
I converted the pixel data in real-time into a numeric format. This raw data is then put in pixels, and movable, three-dimensional rooms were created. Now, I was able to move within these three-dimensional rooms in real-time. Hence, it is possible to experience videos in a completely new manner.
