Sentric's Digital Transition

Sentric, a company managing artists' royalties in Ireland, encountered significant challenges deactivating users in their system when they transitioned to new royalties management agencies. The previous method relied heavily on Excel sheets, but with assistance, Sentric has embarked on a journey to fully digitize this process. This move aims to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and handle transitions where money transfers are required without generating revenue.

The Challenge: Efficient User Deactivation in High-Volume Data Management

Sentric needed an efficient system to deactivate users moving to new royalties management agencies, often handling over 50,000 song deactivations annually. The process had to be streamlined to avoid revenue loss and manage transitions smoothly.

Managing artists' royalties presented a significant challenge due to the large volumes of data involved, compounded by error-prone deactivation processes. Fixing and re-uploading large files was not a feasible solution, necessitating a system capable of displaying and managing errors efficiently.

  • Google Sheets Integration: Provides accessible and modifiable error reports.
  • Centralized Termination Spreadsheet: Automates CMO notification emails from a shared spreadsheet.
  • Error Report Download: Enables easy download of error lists.
  • Color-Coded Deactivation Status: Clearly indicates deactivated songs in grey.
  • This solution streamlines operations, minimizes manual errors, and ensures smooth transitions.
